Badness: mischievous intent.

I bet ya'll know where this one is going. The youngsters there always up to badness. They always have to be doing something they know "perfectly well" there not supposed to be doing. Me mudder used to always sing out "get outta that" (get out of there,) or "oh me nerves if you don't give it up" ( if you don't stop.)

If i had a dollar for every time i say the word no, or a tooney for every time i repeat one of the above phrases in "the run of a day" (one day) , i'd be a millionaire by now. Miss Paige. Where do i even start with her. She's 4 going on 14. The things "she gets on with" (say's) is so way beyond her years. She doesn't skip a beat. But it's more playful, or knowledge she shouldn't yet have. She's "full of badness" with good intent.

The twins. Oh My God!! My mother always wished for me to be cursed with all girls for all the "badness" i did as a child, and all the head aches i caused her as a teen. But my daughter is actually an angel compared to the boys. I got my curse given to me in twin boys who have no remorse or ability to listen to a word i say.

There just about to turn 1 in just over a week. They pull each others hair while laughing about it, fully knowing it hurts, because when the other one does the exact thing back they no longer think it's funny, but cry for my attention, look at me as if to say mom help please.

"That's just the tip of the ice burg" There always "slying" ( looking ) at me, laughing while doing everything. They always go after the mop bucket, as i'm telling them no. They push one another over randomly. They throw all there toys out of the play pin while looking me in the eyes, then cry for me to pick it up.

They know the "command" sit on your bum. Well depending on what i am feeding them, i sometimes sit them both on the floor and sit between them. Well this is stopping soon, because me "nerves is just about shot". They sit long enough to get a spoon full of goodness, as i'm scooping up one twins share the "utter" (other) twin is trying to take the spoon out of my hand., They grab the plate or bowl trying to take it from me, they climb on me like i am a latter. All while i'm saying 100 times sit on your bum please.

Lincoln spits half of his food out in his hand, mushes it all over his face and what ever is left over continues to eat it. He takes a drink and spits it right back out. Cooper he just try's to steal the food right out of Lincoln's mouth. There are always 2 or more sippy cups within arms reach, but no they both have to have the same one, even if the cups are identical they still want the one the other has.

Doing this all with a grin and looking me in the eyes.

Some would say well there not even a year old yet maybe they just don't understand. I don't buy it there so intelligent already. Lincoln is already telling me when he pooped in the cutest baby language only i can understand. But i know it means poop now because its so repetitive after he's done pooping and well every time i ask him if he pooped he does it.

Cooper he's the one who's worst for pulling hair, to the point i've reverted to spanking his hands when he does it. The word no to him is just hysterical, like i am playing peek-a-boo with him. Holding his hands while telling him no, and time outs in the crib also do nothing. But now he's just smacking back. I'm loosing a never ending battle.

I know they do these things just for "badness" They understand how to comb there hair, how to take there diapers off. How to wave hi and bye. There saying words like, mom, dad, nan, pop, and understand witch person is associated with witch name. They are even starting to go after my phone and know simple functions. You cannot tell me the only thing they don't understand is rules.

I think there just bad to the bone and there's no changing it. Like father like son. Always up to "badness" just because it amuses them. Prime example: Lincoln caught in the act of full on pushing Cooper out of the dishwasher.
